Shakuntlam ONLINE returns, exchange & CANCELLATIONS POLICY

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER BEFORE DELIVERY?

We allow early cancellations for orders. You are allowed to cancel your order within 12 hours of placing an order. We recommend that you reach out to us as soon as possible so that we do not process your order any further. Please email us at care@shakuntlam.com with the subject line ‘Order Cancellation’. You will be issued a refund within 14 business days. 

We cannot initiate a refund after 12 hours of placing your order. In this case, We can issue an online store credit for the same. Validity of the online store credit will be 365 days from the date of issue.

THE COLOUR OF THE DRESS DOES NOT MATCH THE PICTURE?

We have made our best efforts to make the pictures on our website match the actual colours. However, there may be times when it doesn’t match due to different displays used by customers.

MY ORDER WAS DAMAGED WHEN I RECEIVED IT.

We are really sorry to hear that. In this case, you are required to email us within 24 hours of delivery with pictures of the item and the delivery package. Please email us at care@shakuntlam.com and we will try our best to replace the item or issue an online store credit for the same.

The item should be in the original delivery condition when returned to us, with Shakuntlam tax invoice and all the tags intact.

WHAT CAN I EXCHANGE?

  1. STITCHED ITEMS :
  1. ReadyMades : We only allow the exchange of Medium (M) & Large (L) size in readymades. We recommend that you reach out to us as soon as possible. An email should be sent within 24hrs of delivery.  Shakuntlam will not entertain any communication of exchange received after 24hrs from time of delivery. Please email us at care@shakuntlam.com with the subject line ‘Order Exchange’. Kindly note that Online purchases cannot be exchanged at our physical stores. 

Once we receive the item(s) to be returned, we shall initiate the exchange at our end. If an exchange is not possible, an online store credit shall be issued of the value of exchange. This can be redeemed for a fresh online purchase, within the validity period (365 days from the date of issue). No refunds will be made.

Kindly ensure that the following conditions are met, to enable us to process your exchange and serve you better

    • Once you get a reply from our side, we will give you 3 days to dispatch the product. 
    • Exchange postage costs will be at your expense. We encourage you to return your parcel via registered or traceable postal services as all returned parcels remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by Shakuntlam. 
    • Include your original Shakuntlam tax invoice with the return.
    • No exchange on sale products or on promotional campaigns. 
    • No exchange on customisations.
    • The outfit should not have been altered in any way.
    • All custom made orders are non-exchangeable and non-returnable.
    • The item is in original saleable condition.
    • The identification tag must still be attached to the products.
    • The products must not have been used, worn, washed or damaged. 
    • All sewn labels are still attached. 

 

  1. Sarees  ( Stitched blouse & Pre draped ) : We only allow the exchange of Medium (M) & Large (L) size in stitched blouse and pre draped sarees. We recommend that you reach out to us as soon as possible.   1. Fabric Sets  ( Unstitched & Semi stitched ) : We allow the exchange of Fabric sets within 10 days from the date of delivery. Please email us at care@shakuntlam.com with the subject line ‘Order Exchange’. Kindly note that Online purchases cannot be exchanged at our physical stores.
